WHAT YOU CAN DO

Here's some ideas for simple things you can do to help the campaign to protect basic rights at work. For more information or resources, please contact the ASU office on 3252 8666.

1. Get informed
2. Distribute information
3. Get involved in a workplace campaign group
4. Talk to community and / or sporting groups
5. Ask your employer where they stand
6. Staff an information stall
  • Use these resources as material for your stall - at a sporting event, shopping centre, market, or anywhere people gather!
7. Write a letter to the editor
8. Call talkback radio
9. “Campaign on the run”
  • Involved in a fun run or other sporting event? Get a "Your Rights at Work - Worth Fighting For" t-shirt to promote the campaing. Contact the ASU office for more info.
10. Visit your local politicians
